OHMI small grants

Congratulations to Hannah Farrell and Eileen Jeffrey Gutiérrez who were awarded an OHMI small grant. Hannah's topic is on "the interaction between wildfire and grazing as a management tool" and Eileen's "the response of Aedes aegypti populations to climate change".

New team members

Fabrice Dubertret is a geography Ph.D student at the University Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. He will be working this Fall with the Pima County Observatory  and continuing his thesis "Shining light on an invisible presence: towards a global atlas of indigenous peoples and territories".

 

Dorsey Kaufmann, a 2nd year Master's student in the College of Fine Arts and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, will be working with the Pima County Observatory to evaluate the role of knowledge mediators, different types of report back and delivery results to differentiate learning outcomes and advance the field of science, environment and risk communication.
